BAGEL & BAGEL Joins Nationwide Rice Flour Gourmet Fair in Japan

This year, BAGEL & BAGEL is thrilled to announce its participation in the nationwide event, "Enjoy Rice Flour Gourmet! National Excursion Gourmet Fair!" Organized by the JFLA Holdings, and managed by their subsidiary, Altego Co., Ltd., the event will take place from November 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026. The fair aims to promote rice and rice flour consumption across Japan, emphasizing the unique flavors and characteristics of rice flour in their offerings.

BAGEL & BAGEL will feature a variety of special bagels made with 70% rice flour, celebrating traditional Japanese ingredients. Among the highlights are:

Rice Flour Bagel - 268 JPY (tax included)


This soft and chewy bagel incorporates rice flour, providing a delightful texture and taste. Each bagel contains 400mg of calcium, making it not only delicious but nutritious as well. The sweet notes of the rice flour and the aroma reminiscent of freshly cooked rice will keep customers coming back for more, especially when toasted to perfection.

Azuki Koji Sweet Sake Bagel - 289 JPY (tax included)


Infused with sweet koji sake and adzuki beans, this sweet bagel offers an elegant flavor profile that captures the essence of traditional Japanese sweets. It is an excellent choice for those seeking something unique and indulgent.

Black Soybean and Kinako Bagel - 289 JPY (tax included)


This bagel combines the aromatic flavors of black soybeans and kinako, creating a rich, rustic taste that is both satisfying and memorable.

Rice Flour Bagel Sandwich and Soup Set - 1,100 JPY


This exclusive set features a rice flour bagel sandwich paired with a comforting soup made with salt koji as an ingredient.

About the Rice Flour Consumption Promotion Project


This initiative, backed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, seeks to increase the consumption of rice and rice flour in light of food security concerns due to rising food demands, climate change, and economic fluctuations. 1180 eateries across Japan are expected to participate in this month-long event from November 1st to November 30th, highlighting the versatility of rice flour.
