On July 8, 2026, Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), a prominent Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), announced it has received a substantial contract worth $15.9 million from the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office, Aircraft Carriers (PEO Carriers). This contract primarily focuses on the life cycle maintenance and modernization of the Navy's critical Nimitz-class (CVN-68) and Ford-class (CVN-78) aircraft carriers.
Contract Overview
The newly awarded contract spans five years, featuring a one-year base period alongside four additional one-year option periods. Throughout this timeframe, ESN will provide comprehensive support covering various facets of the aircraft carrier's life cycle. This includes not only engineering and maintenance planning but also cybersecurity and information assurance services, which are vital for the Navy's operational success and readiness.
In addition, ESN will engage in administrative services to streamline the Navy's capacity to execute and sustain modernization initiatives across each vessel's operational lifespan. The focus will lie in the meticulous collection and management of maintenance and modernization data, which encompasses Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HME) systems, Cyber tools, as well as Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
Operational Base
The contract performance will be primarily anchored in Norfolk, Virginia, with work commencing immediately. This positions ESN to leverage its vast expertise and resources to fulfill the Navy's needs promptly and efficiently.
