Pan Global Expands Escacena Mining Project with New Mineral Rights in Southern Spain

Pan Global Expands Escacena Mining Project

Pan Global Resources Inc. (TSXV: PGZ, OTCQB: PGZFF, FRA: 2EU) has announced the acquisition of substantial mineral rights blocks adjacent to its wholly owned Escacena project in Southern Spain. This acquisition increases the project's footprint by 74%, bringing the total area under ownership to over 10,000 hectares. The newly acquired rights encompass largely unexplored territory with numerous untested geophysical targets, specifically for Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) copper mineralization.

Strategic Expansion

The announcement marks a pivotal development for Pan Global, as it enhances the potential for discovering major mineral deposits within one of the Iberian Pyrite Belt's most promising and under-explored regions. The additional mineral rights facilitate closer exploration of the La Romana and Cañada Honda discoveries, crucial players in the ongoing pursuit of economic copper, tin, and gold deposits.

Tim Moody, the President and CEO of Pan Global, emphasized that obtaining these rights has been a key goal since the initiation of exploration at Escacena. The new geographical expanse increases the likelihood of identifying significant mineral resources, bolstering the company’s objectives to reach a target of 100 million tons of economically viable mineral resources.

Exploration Potential

The recent award by the Andalusian government on September 29, 2025, confirmed three contiguous mineral extraction regions: Flores (1,879.8 hectares), Rosario (636.7 hectares), and Girasoles (1,728.5 hectares). These newly designated areas are essential for the company's exploration strategy, characterized by a post-mineral cover and historical data indicating the presence of copper mineralization correlating with notable geophysical anomalies identified over the years.

Furthermore, the past exploratory work done by major firms such as Exxon in the early 1980s and Rio Tinto in the 1990s laid the groundwork for the current exploration. The recent gravity anomaly maps unveil several significant targets that the company plans to prioritize during initial exploration phases. Tim Moody added that this new wealth of data exposes substantial gravity anomalies consistent in size and scale with major discoveries made in the region, thus fortifying the case for further exploration.

Ongoing Drilling Programs

As part of its expanded efforts, Pan Global is currently conducting drilling operations at the La Romana and Bravo targets within the Escacena project. Drilling is also set to commence at the Providencia gold target, which is part of the broader Cármenes project in Northern Spain. The company anticipates completing the first mineral resource estimate for La Romana by the end of 2025, laying the framework for future resource evaluations.

Current drilling initiatives aim to extend the known deposits while exploring new targets identified through updated geological interpretations. The Bravo area, in particular, will see three new drill holes planned to test revised gravity and IP chargeability anomalies.

The Bigger Picture

The broadened Escacena project will not only consolidate Pan Global's presence in one of Europe’s most prolific mining districts but also represents the company's commitment to sustainable mining practices. The firm leverages extensive exploration expertise, guided by a commitment to environmental stewardship and community partnership.

As the global demand for copper continues to surge, driven by the urgency of electrification and clean energy transitions, Pan Global’s ventures position them favorably in the competitive minerals market. The strategic expansion of the Escacena project is set against the backdrop of a robust legal framework for mining investments, optimizing operational risk and bolstering investor confidence.
