The renowned teppanyaki chef, Junichi Yoshida, known for his Michelin-starred restaurant in Tokyo, is hosting a special white truffle event in Okinawa this November. Celebrating its 13th anniversary, Ishigaki Yoshida collaborates with Hohobare, a local restaurant in Naha, to bring guests an unforgettable culinary experience.

About the Chef


Chef Junichi Yoshida began his culinary journey in 1994 at the Hotel New Otani, where he mastered French cuisine and teppanyaki. He was appointed teppanyaki chef at Conrad Tokyo in 2005, and played a vital role in earning a Michelin star at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo. In 2013, he opened his own restaurant, Ishigaki Yoshida, which has consistently retained a Michelin star for three years in a row. Chef Yoshida has also consulted for high-end restaurants across Asia, contributing to their recognition in the Michelin Guide.

The Event


Scheduled for November 7th and 9th, 2025, the event promises to showcase exquisite dishes featuring the luxurious white truffle, which is in season during this period. Guests can indulge in Yoshida's signature dish, “Beef Consomme Rice with White Truffle,” renowned for its rich flavors and aromatic essence. The event also features the rare “Yaeyama Goto Beef” T-bone steak, which is a true delicacy. This steak is unique due to its combination of tenderloin and sirloin, delightfully cooked on the bone to capture rich meat juices and flavors. The thickly cut T-bone, perfect for sharing, offers a unique dining experience, making it an ideal event for food lovers.
