He states, "We are leveraging HSA's decades of experience along with the cutting-edge capabilities of artificial intelligence to redefine our approaches to work, competition, and growth."

The primary goal of the HSA AI Lab is to pinpoint, develop, and implement AI solutions that significantly enhance various functions within HSA’s diversified operations. The initiative places emphasis on productivity enhancement, informed decision-making, and innovative growth strategies.

Extensive Assessment and Prioritization of Opportunities

The launch of the Lab follows meticulous research that identified 229 potential AI opportunities across the business landscape. After thorough evaluation, 38 high-priority opportunities were selected based on their respective impacts and feasibility.

To kickstart the AI Lab’s operations, more than 40 HSA leaders convened for a two-day workshop that focused on transitioning ideas into actionable strategies. They explored key areas, including:
  • - Building AI capabilities across the workforce
  • - Enabling AI-powered automation
  • - Developing integrated AI systems
  • - Investigating new AI-enabled business ventures

Leadership and Partnerships for Success

The Lab will be a collaborative effort co-led by Mohamed Nabil Hayel Saeed and Theo Breward. They will oversee strategic planning, execution, and ensure effective engagement with various business units throughout the Group.

In its operational framework, the HSA AI Lab will also partner with leading technology firms and AI experts globally, integrating their innovative capabilities with HSA’s established knowledge and practices.

Ambitious Goals for the Future

Mr. Nabil Hayel Saeed Anam emphasizes that HSA's ambition is not just to venture into AI exploration but to generate measurable outcomes. He asserts, “We will utilize AI to elevate productivity, sharpen decision-making, and empower our workforce. The future will not wait—and neither will HSA.”
