Located in Tokyo's Toshima ward, Mibu invites patrons to enjoy their renowned 'Beef Meat Soba' and 'Chicken Soba' for a nostalgic price of just 690 yen, a rate reminiscent of their grand opening 15 years ago.

This limited-time event offers unique tickets for dine-in guests, with only 150 servings of each dish available for lunch and dinner. It’s a rare opportunity for patrons to taste their favorite dishes at their original prices, making it an SSR-class event in the restaurateur's journey.
The Humble Beginnings
Founded in September 2010, Ikebukuro Mibu emerged as a solution to address the void in affordable soba offerings. At that time, the soba dining experience was divided into two extremes: budget-friendly standing bars and high-end hand-made soba establishments. Mibu introduced 'Meat Soba', incorporating spicy chili oil and generous portions that captured the attention of diners. The novel concept quickly gained popularity and has since spread to various locations in Tokyo and neighboring Yamanashi, Nagano, and Shizuoka prefectures.
Embracing Challenges
Throughout the years, Mibu has encountered many challenges, notably the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and the global outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020. However, with the unwavering support of loyal customers, the restaurants have gradually grown. Factors such as rising ingredient costs and minimum wage adjustments necessitated operational changes, including ingredient substitutions and flexible employment strategies to ensure sustainability.
