From September 19 to October 2, 2025, Manulife Life Insurance Company will showcase a fresh cinema advertisement campaign across 97 Aeon Cinema locations in Japan. This initiative focuses on empowering customers to make informed choices in the era of living a hundred years, promoting a balanced lifestyle with financial security and aid in personal development.

The campaign highlights inspiring stories from three real customers who received support from Manulife's advisors, emphasizing the importance of conversation and decision-making in planning their futures. Each narrative demonstrates how seeking assistance can help navigate the complexities of long-term financial planning and personal well-being.

“Living a long life is not just about longevity but about living well,” said Ryan Sherrard, the CEO of Manulife Life Insurance. The company believes in maintaining a balanced approach to health, financial, and mental well-being, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. A recent survey conducted by Manulife revealed significant insights about Japanese people's perspectives on aging. Many prefer living with dignity and authenticity rather than simply prolonging life. However, concerns about financial stability in retirement remain prevalent, particularly among those who haven't consulted a financial planner.

Interestingly, the survey found that 42% of individuals using a financial planner feel confident about their retirement funds, compared to just 18% of those who haven’t sought professional advice. This data highlights the importance of having a robust financial plan and the peace of mind it can bring.
