Welcome to Kids Duo International
As children grow, the selection of preschool education becomes crucial. Understanding the importance of multilingual education in today’s world, Kids Duo International (KDI) begins enrollment sessions for families interested in joining this innovative bilingual preschool program starting in April 2026. Currently, there are 14 branches located in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka, all ready to introduce prospective parents to this exceptional educational opportunity.
Established in 2013, KDI merges the functionalities of nursery and kindergarten, offering a curriculum tailored for bilingual and multilingual learning in both English and Japanese. Children will engage in not just language education but also in intelligence development, physical education, and life skills. This combination of disciplines is designed to maximize a child's potential in this VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era.
Why Choose KDI?
KDI's unique curriculum includes over 3,800 hours of English instruction over four years, which contributes to a significant number of students passing the Eiken® Grade Pre-2 test each year. This achievement is complemented by a structured daily routine from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended care options available up to 8:00 PM. Such flexibility is vital for working families, allowing for a convenient and stress-free preschool experience.
While many families seek English education for their children, KDI distinguishes itself from traditional international schools. The bilingual method ensures children naturally acquire both languages, promoting an appreciation for Japanese culture alongside their English education. KDI’s curriculum immerses students in both languages through activities that reflect real-world scenarios, facilitating a deeper understanding of their environment.
Comprehensive Learning Environment
The preschool experience at KDI is designed as an ‘All-In-One’ program. Not only do they focus on language acquisition, but they also integrate extracurricular subjects such as programming, sports, and cultural knowledge. Parents will appreciate the convenience of having multiple educational opportunities streamlined into one location without needing to shuttle their children from one class to another.
Each term includes structured physical education, guided by sports science. Children will learn essential skills such as how to throw a ball effectively, demonstrating a practical application of physical education grounded in scientific principles. Additionally, KDI focuses on fostering non-cognitive skills through engaging activities such as role-playing in different occupational environments, allowing children to explore various career paths.
