About the Appointees


Jason Garcia, taking on the role of Distributor Member, brings a wealth of experience from Drillers Service, Inc., where he serves as the Regional Vice President. His tenure at the company started in 2008, during which time he also held positions as Branch Manager and Regional Manager, showcasing a progressive career dedicated to sustaining and improving water resource management.

Garcia's strategic vision for advancing sustainable water solutions aligns perfectly with WSC's objectives. His familiarity with regional operations across several states makes him uniquely positioned to address the diverse challenges faced in the water industry.

Richard Mest, appointed as Director-at-Large, currently holds the position of Strategic Affairs Officer for the Water Quality Association. His impressive career in the water treatment industry includes past presidencies with both the Water Quality Association and the Water Quality Research Foundation. His achievements have earned him the WQA's Lifetime Membership Award and a rightful place in the WQA Hall of Fame, with significant contributions to advocacy and industry leadership.

At WSC, Mest brings invaluable insights into business development and government affairs that will assist the organization in strengthening its efforts to ensure safe drinking water for well owners across the United States.
