Midea Group Unveils Innovative Sustainable Heating Solutions at ISH 2025

Midea Group Launches Sustainable Heating Innovations at ISH 2025

Midea Group is making waves at the ISH 2025 trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, showcasing its dedication to sustainable heating solutions with a strong focus on energy efficiency. Under the motto, 'Green Vision, Blue Future,' Midea is presenting a range of advanced products designed to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in heating and cooling systems across Europe.

As per the European Environment Agency, buildings account for a significant portion—34%—of greenhouse gas emissions in the EU, predominantly from energy use, including heating and cooling systems. However, the industry has made substantial progress, reducing these emissions by the same percentage from 2005 to 2022, largely due to improvements in heating and cooling technologies.

Midea aims to bolster this trend with its latest offerings, which include several products that harness the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290. With a staggering 6.2 million units sold worldwide, Midea has achieved a remarkable 3.715 million tons reduction in CO2 emissions. Notably, the company unveiled a series of R290 products tailored for the European market:

1. Nature ATW Heat Pump

The Nature ATW Heat Pump stands out as one of Midea's most advanced models specifically designed for the European market, boasting an impressive ERP rating of A+++—the highest in the EU. Using R290, this natural refrigerant has a GWP of just 3, and an ODP of 0, making it an eco-conscious choice. Its capacity to deliver water at temperatures up to 80°C meets all residential needs while the ultra-quiet compressor operates at just 30 dB(A), which is quieter than a household refrigerator.

2. H-Pack Heat Pump

The H-Pack Heat Pump combines German engineering with Italian design. This award-winning unit foregoes an outdoor compressor, allowing for indoor installation that facilitates efficient repairs and maintenance. Additionally, it features a hybrid mode for easy integration with existing gas boilers, optimizing energy usage in homes.

3. Vita Series Water Heaters

Midea's Vita water heaters transition from purely electric models to hybrid solutions utilizing natural energy sources. The product range includes the easily installable Vita R290, Vita Solar, and Vita Gas Flame water heaters, which significantly lower NOx emissions and enhance combustion stability. These units are particularly beneficial for older buildings and regions with high altitudes.

4. iEasyEnergy System

Midea is also introducing its comprehensive iEasyEnergy solution, designed for efficient energy management within homes. This fully integrated system connects air-to-water heat pumps, energy storage units, and photovoltaic modules, delivering a 90% energy independence capability for households.

5. Solstice AI Air Conditioner

In addition to heating solutions, Midea is debuting its AI-powered Solstice air conditioner. It features a rotating 180° deflector to create a cascading airflow that envelops users in warmth. The innovative stainless-steel chassis and oil-heating strip guarantee reliable winter operation, while the new ECOMASTER AI algorithm delivers over 30% energy savings compared to conventional units.

Midea's commitment to practical, user-friendly, and sustainable solutions aims to assist European homeowners and businesses in transitioning towards smart and green technologies. The ISH trade fair focuses on energy and water-saving solutions this year, aligning perfectly with Midea's vision for a sustainable future.
