Honoring Achievements: 2025 W. P. Carey Alumni Hall of Fame Inductees

The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is set to celebrate its 2025 Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony, honoring five remarkable alumni whose careers have made significant impacts in various industries, including finance, healthcare, and education. The event, scheduled for November 13th at McCord Hall Plaza on the ASU Tempe campus, will also feature the presentation of the Bill Carey Award, recognizing an outstanding leader for their philanthropic contributions.

This year's inductees include Sissie Roberts Shank, the CEO and President of Chas Roberts Air Conditioning, Inc., who has successfully led Arizona's largest family-owned heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing company. Known for her commitment to empowering women in business, Shank also serves on the boards of several organizations, making her an influential figure in the community.

Also honored is Michael Leskinen, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United Airlines. Under his financial leadership since 2023, the airline has achieved noteworthy growth and innovation, demonstrating his capability to steer complex financial operations in a highly competitive industry.

Robert Milligan, the Founder and CEO of UDLR Healthcare, represents the healthcare sector. With vast experience in health care real estate, Milligan's tenure includes pivotal roles in establishing one of the largest owners of medical office buildings in the United States.

The business landscape in Singapore will be represented by Xinjun Liang, the Chairman and CEO of Xin Family Pte. Ltd. With an extensive background in finance and as a former executive director of Fosun International, Liang's contributions to both his companies and the broader community exemplify leadership on a global scale.

Completing this year's honorees is Heather Bronson, a Young Alumni Inductee and Senior Vice President at Comerica Bank. Bronson's career reflects a two-decade commitment to global wholesale banking, where she has ascended through various roles, showcasing her strategic acumen and leadership skills.

Recognized for his philanthropic initiatives is Morton Fleischer, the founder of the Fleischer Scholars Foundation. Starting from humble beginnings, Fleischer has founded multiple real estate companies and dedicated his efforts to supporting economically disadvantaged students with educational resources. His foundation encourages these students to leverage their skills in their communities, providing a lasting impact.

The ceremony will feature a cocktail reception, an awards presentation, and an induction of the new Hall of Fame members, closing with remarks reflecting on the significant achievements and contributions of these leaders. Attendees can also engage in celebrations at the W. P. Carey booth during the ASU Homecoming Block Party and tailgate events later in the month.
