Celebrate the Revival of Florida Sundae with Free Samples!

On April 26, coinciding with the special occasion of "Good Bath Day," Akagi Dairy Co., Ltd. will launch its very first sampling event for the revived Florida Sundae ice cream. This exciting two-day event will be hosted at the popular bathhouse Kotobukiyu in Ueno, Tokyo, which has been a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike for 66 years.

As part of this unique event titled "After Bathing Florida Sundae," attendees will be treated to complimentary samples of the newly revamped flavors: Blueberry and Strawberry. Each guest can enjoy one free sample and can return for more—each additional serving limited to one per person—ensuring everyone has a fair chance to indulge.

Event Highlights

In addition to an ice-cool delight, the first 100 guests on April 26 will receive an exclusive original mesh bag featuring the Florida Sundae x Kotobukiyu collaboration. Both the bathhouse and the event will be decorated with special Florida Sundae themes that enhance the experience.

The Florida Sundae is an iconic ice cream that first hit the market in the 1980s. It’s known for its generous portions of gooey sauces and creamy ice cream. Designed to be the perfect post-bathing treat, this refreshing dessert includes different original sauces for the top and sides, ensuring that you savor the creamy milk ice throughout your experience. This spring, both the blueberry and strawberry varieties have been revamped to capture the true taste of fresh fruits. The first bite is guaranteed to be even more delightful!

The prices are set at a retail price of ¥238 (tax included) for each 210ml offering:
