Promoting the Importance of Working: Kato Works Participates in Shinagawa Dream Job for Middle Schoolers

Kato Works Inspires Future Generations in Shinagawa

On March 6, 2026, Kato Works participated in an inspiring program aimed at junior high school first-year students in Shinagawa, titled "Shinagawa Dream Job." This initiative, led by the Shinagawa Board of Education, strives to help students understand the significance of work through exposure to various careers.

During the event, approximately 30 enthusiastic students from Hamagawa Junior High School gathered to learn about the construction machinery industry and the diverse job roles within it. The company's public relations representative laid out an engaging presentation using slides that highlighted the different professions at Kato Works, including the challenges and rewards inherent in each role.

Feedback from the students was promising. Many expressed newfound interest in the manufacturing sector, with one student remarking, "I found a desire to learn more about jobs in manufacturing." This positive response underscores the importance of such career education efforts, which Kato Works is proud to support.
