Join the Exciting STEAM FESTIVAL in Ueno Park!

On June 27-28, 2025, the Ueno Onshi Park's Takenodai Square, also known as Fountain Square, will transform into a hub of creativity as the Tokyo Junior Chamber Taito Committee hosts the much-anticipated STEAM FESTIVAL! This innovative event, designed to inspire and expand creative thinking, will combine music and hands-on experiences in STEAM education, which encompasses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

A Weekend Full of Fun and Learning

Kicking off the festival on June 27 (Friday), attendees can look forward to live performances by the idol group SAKURADOLL, introducing a fun-filled atmosphere for fans of all ages. The following day, June 28 (Saturday), will feature not only an exciting opening live performance but also interactive workshops such as songwriting sessions led by popular artists and free live performances by singer-songwriter Meguru Tousaka, alongside a signing event.

Throughout the festival, children from elementary schools in Taito Ward will have opportunities to engage in various STEAM experiences and music creation workshops, all designed to nurture creativity and problem-solving skills. To elevate the festival experience, 35 food trucks will be on-site, offering a delightful range of treats for attendees of all ages.

Engaging with STEAM Education

One highlight of the STEAM FESTIVAL is the engaging workshops. After participating in any of the STEAM experience workshops, children will receive complimentary tickets to the famous Hanayashiki amusement park when they complete a feedback survey. Here’s a quick look at the workshop details:
  • - Songwriting Experience (Pre-registration required): All participants will receive a special gift.
  • - Robot Workshop and Invention Idea Workshop (Open participation): The first 180 attendees will receive a gift.

Additionally, attendees can take advantage of a chance to win delicious snacks from KOIKEYA by answering a simple survey through QR codes placed around the venue.
