Join the Special Lectures of 'Thinking About Travel School' 2nd Term

Exciting News for Travel Enthusiasts

The popular program 'Thinking About Travel School' is back for its second term, led by notable figures like renowned manga artist Masayuki Kusumi and actress Yuki Kudo. The school, powered by Tabiiro and hosted by Brangista Media, offers a unique opportunity to deepen your travel knowledge through themed teachings.

About the Program

After the successful completion of the first term, which ran from May to July 2025, the second term is set to run from February 12 to March 31, 2026. Over eight sessions, attendees will learn about various aspects of travel, focusing this time on the increasingly popular theme of 'Sake Tourism'. Participants will gather in a space designed for profound learning, which blends traditional culture with modern explorations of Japan’s liquor industry.

This innovative school has attracted individuals who are not just passionate about travel but also wish to explore how travel can fuel imagination. The first term featured an exclusive lecture series with remarkable guests such as Yoshiharu Hoshino from Hoshino Resorts and actress Tomoko Yamaguchi. Students expressed their joy and enlightenment from the course, sharing insights on their newfound understanding of travel's impact on creativity and personal growth.

Sake Tourism: A New Perspective on Travel

As the global focus intensifies on the art of sake brewing—recently recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage—this second term aims to educate students on how to experience local cultures through the lens of authentic Japanese spirits. 'Sake Tourism' is defined as learning about local excitement through traditional brews. With a wide array of breweries now featuring tasting bars and tours, students will engage closely with both local brewers and community members.

Special Lecturers Including Masayuki Kusumi

The first session will kick off with Masayuki Kusumi, known for his hit manga 'Solitary Gourmet'. He has shared his passion for food and drink through various media, including a YouTube channel where he explores new culinary experiences. His vast travels and profound knowledge of sake will guide students in understanding the cultural significance behind Japan’s national beverage. Prior to his lecture, he will share a personal assignment for interacting with students about his favorite sake travel spots, aiming to inspire participants to create their itineraries.

In addition to Kusumi, other speakers slated to join include actress Yuki Kudo, who collaborates with Fuji Nishiki Brewery on sake production, and Takumi Ebe, editor of 'Amakara Techo'. This diverse roster of experts will ensure a rich learning experience.
