Kobe Beef, one of the three major Japanese beef brands, is derived from Tajima cattle, specifically selected under the strictest criteria. This beef is celebrated for its rich sweetness and aromatic flavor, making it a favorite among gourmets worldwide.
On the other hand, Matsusaka Beef is distinguished by its high-fat content and exquisite flavor, being exclusively sourced from virgin females of the black-haired breed, raised for the longest duration in the Matsusaka region. Known for its delicate marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture, this beef is often referred to as a "piece of meat art."

The course at Takumi allows diners to savor and compare the flavors of these two premium beef types. During lunch, guests can enjoy a selection of seasonal fresh fish grilled to perfection, while dinner features the succulent grilled Ise lobster complemented by both beef varieties.

The Takumi head chef, Yuichi Bahara, hails from Fukuoka. Chef Bahara's unique flair incorporates seasonal ingredients and flavors from various cuisines, making his dishes both authentic and appealing to international guests.
