Autel U.S. ADAS Training Program Receives Dual Accreditation

Port Washington, N.Y. – March 25, 2026 – Autel U.S., a prominent leader in automotive diagnostic tools and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions, recently made headlines by announcing that its Autel Academy ADAS Training Program has garnered prestigious accreditation from both the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR).

Achieving accreditation from two authoritative organizations underscores Autel's commitment to enhancing technician education and ensuring the highest service standards in the automotive sector. The successful qualification of Autel’s training program confirms that it meets the stringent requirements of the industry, providing relevant, high-quality instruction that aligns with the latest advancements in vehicle technology.

“Autel successfully met all of these criteria, and we are pleased to recognize them as an ASE-accredited training provider,” stated Matt Shepanek, Vice President of Credential Testing Programs at ASE.

This accreditation signifies meaningful benefits for training providers and the automotive sector alike. Shepanek noted, “Accreditation grants training organizations recognized credibility, guarantees their curriculum aligns with prevailing industry standards, and confirms their commitment to maintaining high-quality instruction, facilities, and resources.”

Launched in 2023 at its headquarters in Port Washington, the Autel Academy's ADAS Training Program integrates classroom theory with hands-on experience in a specially designed calibration bay. This allows technicians to engage in both static and dynamic calibrations in practical, real-world settings while honing their diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.

As demand for skilled technicians continues to rise, Autel has expanded the reach of its training program, now also available in Detroit, St. Louis, California, and Florida. Responding to feedback and increasing necessity, Autel plans to incorporate a third training day that will include a certification assessment, enabling technicians to showcase their expertise and earn continuing education credits from ASE and I-CAR.

Chris Gutierrez, Product and Training Director for ADAS at Autel North America, expressed pride in this recognition: “We are proud to have our ADAS Training Program acknowledged by ASE. Our mission is to equip technicians with the necessary skills for performing precise ADAS calibrations confidently in real-life situations.”

This training initiative not only enhances safety and minimizes liability but also caters to the burgeoning demand for qualified technicians skilled in ADAS technology. To learn more about Autel’s programs or to book a training class, visit Autel Academy.
