The much-anticipated "Suica Summer Festival powered by JR-Cross" is set to take place at JR Tokyo Station, celebrating the beloved Suica Penguin. After its successful debut in 2023, this event brings back fun activities, exclusive merchandise, and a festive atmosphere.

Event Highlights

From July 24 to July 27, 2025, visitors can partake in various activities located at the event space "Square Zero" on the basement floor of JR Tokyo Station. The festival will feature a special pop-up store, the "Pensta POP-UP Store," showcasing an array of Suica Penguin merchandise available for early purchase. This is a great opportunity for fans to get their hands on exclusive items not readily available elsewhere.

Each session is limited to 20 groups, so be sure to arrive early and bring your camera! A ticket is required for participation, which can be obtained by fulfilling specific conditions that are detailed below.

How to Get Your Shooting Session Ticket

Tickets for the photo session will be distributed starting July 1 at 9:00 AM. To qualify, attendees must meet the following criteria:
1. Location for Ticket Collection: JR Ueno Station, inside the East Entrance, at the Pensta Ecute Ueno store's merchandise area.
2. Purchase Requirement: Spend a total of 1,500 yen (tax included) or more using transportation-related electronic money, such as Suica, at any of the designated stores. You can combine purchases made on the same day.
3. Eligible Locations: Merchandise and café area at Pensta Ecute Ueno store. Please note that receipts from the café area must be issued during the merchandise area’s operational hours.

To collect your ticket, present your receipt at the collection location and express your desire to participate in the photo session. You will be required to fill out an application form with your name and preferred session time, and tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out. Please be aware that due to the potential for crowds, ticket distribution and photo sessions may be altered or canceled. We appreciate your understanding.
