Upcoming JPI Seminar on Advanced Natural Gas Utilization
On September 22, 2025, the Japan Planning Institute (JPI) will host a significant seminar focusing on the advanced utilization of natural gas, the trends surrounding the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC), and the latest developments in economic security. This event will be led by Shinichi Nakaya, the Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party's Parliamentary League on the advanced utilization of natural gas and the promotion of e-methane.
Seminar Overview
The seminar aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how current global shifts impact Japan's economy, especially in the context of U.S.-China tensions. Nakaya will share his insights drawn from his experiences as a politician, including his roles as Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and State Minister for Foreign Affairs, alongside his background as a Self-Defense Forces officer.
