GEDU Global Education Partners with UNITAR

On December 17, 2025, GEDU Global Education, a UK-based multinational focused on educational solutions, solidified its commitment to sustainable development by signing an agreement with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). This partnership was announced during the XXII Annual Steering Committee Meeting of the CIFAL Global Network, held in London from December 9 to 11, which saw participation from over 70 delegates across more than 30 nations.

Under this agreement, GEDU is set to operate one of the 32 international training centers managed by UNITAR. These centers aim to support initiatives that promote the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations in 2015. During the meeting, delegates evaluated the network's performance, which successfully trained over 161,000 beneficiaries throughout 2025. Many CIFAL Centers are hosted at universities, emphasizing the vital role of higher education in this undertaking."
