On April 23, 2025, amidst the excitement of the Shanghai Auto Show, Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) successfully wrapped up the first phase of its ambitious endurance event termed "Endless Horizon - Worry-Free Voyage." This four-day challenge saw the hybrid vehicles of Chery – the TIGGO9 CSH and ARRIZO8 CSH – lead an international media convoy spanning participants from countries such as Malaysia, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Beginning in the city's Sanxia, the route traversed through bustling towns like Wuhan and Wuchang, covering over 1400 kilometers and culminating in Shanghai. This demanding test aimed to underscore the recognition and approval of Chery's hybrid vehicles among global consumers.

Comprehensive Driving Scenarios

The endurance journey measured more than 1400 kilometers, including diverse driving scenarios, such as navigating through city traffic jams, winding mountain roads, and executing high-speed drives. The prowess of CSH emerged clearly from its revolutionary architecture, as demonstrated by its unique fifth-generation 1.5 TGDI engine promoting exceptional thermal efficiency, reaching up to 44.5%. Coupled with a seamless hybrid DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) that boasts an impressive transmission efficiency of 98.5%, the balance between power and fuel efficiency was effectively achieved. These advancements propelled both the TIGGO9 CSH and ARRIZO8 CSH to a forefront in overall performance metrics.

Emphasizing Vehicle Range

The "Endless Horizon - Worry-Free Voyage" primarily focused on vehicle range, successfully obliterating range anxieties. ARRIZO8 CSH recorded a consumption rate of only 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers while in battery depletion mode. Concurrently, the TIGGO9 CSH, equipped with a specialized hybrid battery, exhibited a rapid charging capability, achieving 30% to 80% charge in merely 20 minutes. Further enhancing its utility, the vehicle features a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing it to power various appliances, including charging another electric vehicle at rates of 6.6 kW—perfect for outdoor activities like camping.

During the extensive 600-kilometer high-speed evaluation, both models maintained a consistent cruising speed of 120 km/h, effectively showcasing robust performance. Notably, both models are equipped with nearly 20 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), an Adaptive Parking Assistant (APA), and a cabin noise level capped at 60 dBA even at speeds of 120 km/h, assuring a driving experience that is intelligent, safe, and comfortable.

Celebrating Technological Equality

This event not only highlighted the innovative technologies behind the Chery brand but also manifested its concept of "technological equality." Following the Chinese segment, the Malaysian phase of the challenge will proceed. Moreover, looking ahead, more than 40 practical assessments in over 20 different countries and regions will feature additional CSH models, demonstrating the system's adaptability under various conditions, embodying the mantra of "worry-free and all circumstances" travel.
