'During visits to markets and processing facilities, we encountered a shocking number of abandoned vegetables, all deemed “imperfect” and slated for disposal,' says Naoki Furuhata, CEO of Marugoto Co. 'We realized that rather than being thrown away, these vegetables could nourish families in need.'

A Call to Action Against Environmental Neglect



The heart of 'GREEN Delivery' beats with a dual purpose: to make fresh produce more accessible while combating food waste. Many individuals cannot afford to purchase vegetables, and others find it difficult to travel to supermarkets. At the same time, perfectly good vegetables sit idle, destined for the dump due solely to minor imperfections. 'Isn’t it strange that such a circumstance exists?' Furuhata asserts. 'If these vegetables can be consumed rather than discarded, we must create a system to deliver them to those who wish to eat them.'

The project aims to foster a new community committed to addressing food waste and environmental issues through outdoor activities, such as camping and BBQ experiences. These activities will be organized in scenic Chiba, utilizing nature as a backdrop for culinary enjoyment. The crowdfunding will run from August 21 to September 21, 2025, allowing participants to contribute to groundbreaking efforts in food waste reduction.

Creating a ‘No Compromise’ Dining Experience



The service does not merely aim to send out boxes of vegetables; it aspires to cultivate a 'No Compromise' dining experience. 'We believe that everyone should have access to delightful and nutritious meals,' says Furuhata. The 'GREEN Delivery' subscription focuses on domestic vegetables sourced directly from local farmers. Each delivery includes information on origins, ensuring quality and freshness.

'Every box is an opportunity to enjoy healthy vegetables while promoting food sustainability.' Participants can be assured that the vegetables they receive could otherwise have been wasted—transforming their meals into champions for the environment.
