Unilumin's Vision for a Sustainable Future at WOO 2026 in London

Unilumin at WOO 2026 in London

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) held its annual congress from June 3 to 5, 2026, in London, marking its return to this city for the first time since 1990. The event attracted more than 800 delegates, leaders, and experts from over 30 countries, showcasing the importance of outdoor advertising on a global scale. As a long-time supporter and one of only two Chinese annual sponsors of WOO, Unilumin participated actively, presenting its advanced LED display solutions to media owners, technology partners, and operators worldwide.

This year's congress emphasized key trends reshaping outdoor advertising: artificial intelligence, creativity, and sustainability. These themes underscored the shift towards smarter, more immersive, and carbon dioxide (CO₂)-reduced solutions, highlighted by the introduction of the “Ad Net Zero DOOH” CO₂ calculator. This strategic direction aligns perfectly with Unilumin’s philosophy of combining solid technical expertise with an environmentally friendly, low CO₂ approach throughout the product lifecycle.

Unilumin's commitment to sustainability is recognized through various independent accolades. The company has achieved recognition as a national Green Factory and serves as a flagship for CO₂ neutrality. In 2023, Unilumin became the first LED display manufacturer to receive the TÜV SÜD LED Display CO₂ label, which represents an independent assessment of the product's CO₂ footprint across its entire lifecycle. Additionally, the company holds the Intertek Green Leaf Mark for its products' CO₂ impact.

Technical precision is at the core of Unilumin's product range. The outdoor displays feature modular service access from both front and rear, coupled with an IP69K ingress protection rating and advanced thermal and energy management systems. Each product undergoes rigorous testing against applicable fire protection standards and includes flame-retardant design, reducing fire risk in densely populated urban areas. Select models carry electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Class B certification to minimize electromagnetic interference.

These capabilities have proven effective in practice, demonstrated by notable deployments such as a massive 2,800 square meter display at the AKH Tower in Saudi Arabia and a unique anamorphic 3D installation in Warsaw. This extensive reach is supported by a global network spanning over 160 countries and more than 5,600 sales and service locations, enabling Unilumin to transition from merely exporting products to exporting a brand, service reliability, and genuine partnerships.

The future of outdoor advertising is set to be more intelligent, eco-friendly, and immersive. Unilumin is at the forefront of this evolution by integrating technical expertise, production capacity, and a worldwide network to help partners transform urban spaces into powerful, durable media solutions that promise substantial returns.
