BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025 Successfully Concludes with Record Attendance and Export Deals

BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025: A Landmark Event for MSMEs

The BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025, hosted by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (IDX: BBRI), wrapped up successfully after attracting an impressive 63,000 visitors and securing USD 90.6 million in export contracts during the event held from January 30 to February 2, 2025, at the ICE BSD City in Jakarta. This year's expo set a high standard for showcasing the potential of Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the global market.

Highlighting Global Outreach

The theme of this year’s expo, “Broadening MSME's Global Outreach,” proved to be a fitting representation of the event's goals. It featured 1,000 of the top MSMEs ready to compete internationally, exceeding expectations set at the outset. The event not only attracted increased attendance, well beyond the initial target of 50,000 visitors, but also surpassed the IDR 38.9 billion in transactions highlighted by significant business matching initiatives.

During the closing ceremony, led by Sunarso, the President Director of BRI, attendees celebrated the expo’s achievements and BRI's ongoing commitment to assisting MSMEs in expanding their market reach. Catur Budi Harto, BRI’s Vice President Director, was also present, noting the pivotal role that the expo played in fostering business innovation and partnership.

Export Contracts and Business Matching Successes

The event's success was notably amplified by the participation of 506 registered buyers from 34 countries, significantly outpacing the goal of 94 buyers from 33 countries. With a total of 270 business meetings held, one of the standout deals included PT Siger Jaya Abadi, which successfully negotiated a remarkable USD 13.05 million contract with the Bluestar Food Corporation from the USA. This not only highlights the demand for Indonesian products but also showcases the potential these local businesses have in exporting to international markets.
