TriBeC's Adoption of Authlete: Enhancing Connectivity for Small Businesses
TriBeC Inc., a leader in digital marketing support and DX platform services, has made headlines with its decision to integrate Authlete into its operations. This move aims to enhance the connectivity of third-party applications to its popular cloud service, Hirameki 7, thereby supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) more effectively.
About Hirameki 7
Hirameki 7 boasts of over 37,000 cumulative users, positioning itself as an essential DX platform for SMEs. It serves to streamline a variety of business operations, including marketing, finance, and overall management, ultimately promoting corporate efficiency and improvement. By utilizing Hirameki 7, client companies can tackle multiple challenges associated with digital transformation in a unified manner, thus establishing a foundation for new business ventures.
The platform’s success necessitated an effective OAuth 2.0 server structure, leading TriBeC to adopt Authlete to facilitate seamless integration with third-party applications. The operational phase officially commenced in October 2025.
Purpose Behind Authlete Adoption
The integration of third-party applications within Hirameki 7 calls for an optimized user experience from app addition to consent confirmation, alongside a secure authorization flow powered by OAuth 2.0. Initially, TriBeC considered Amazon Cognito for user authentication; however, challenges in UI customization and OAuth settings flexibility emerged.
Alternative solutions such as Auth0 and the open-source authorization server Ory Hydra were weighed in the decision-making process. Nonetheless, Auth0 did not justify its cost-effectiveness while Ory Hydra posed significant operational burdens regarding database management, ultimately excluding both from consideration.
After extensive evaluation, TriBeC chose Authlete as the optimal solution.
