JPI Seminar: Current Status and Future of the Bus Project
On August 5, 2025, the Japan Planning Institute (JPI) will host a seminar focusing on the "Bus Project" initiated by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The event will feature Kenichi Koyama, the Director of the Planning and Evaluation Office of the Road Bureau, who will provide in-depth insights into this innovative initiative.
The Bus Project aims to enhance public transport by improving transportation terminals, thus creating integrated spaces that connect roads, bus stops, and urban areas. Registration Fees
The cost for attending the seminar is 37,550 yen (tax included) for individuals. A special offer allows one additional participant to attend for free per registered individual (prior registration required). Local government officials qualify for a reduced rate of 11,000 yen (tax included) for up to two attendees, but they must participate in the same format (in-person or live stream).
