Jim Duguay Takes the Helm as National Aviation Planning Leader at Michael Baker International

This move is set to bolster the firm’s capabilities in aviation planning and infrastructure development across the country.
In his new role, Duguay is tasked with overseeing a variety of national projects related to aviation planning, which includes directing airfield layouts, master plans, and infrastructure assessments. Ensuring conformity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards and design circulars is a crucial aspect of his responsibilities. Duguay is expected to bring innovative planning solutions to life by closely collaborating with designers, engineers, and technical experts, managing budgets, timelines, and objectives to guarantee top-notch results for a diverse range of airport clients.

Duguay comes into this position with over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, with 26 years dedicated to Michael Baker International. Before his recent promotion, he held the role of Noise and Environmental Manager at DeKalb Peachtree Airport and was involved in airport management for Gwinnett County. His commitment to aviation is underscored by his credentials as a Private Pilot and a licensed sUAS Remote Pilot. Academically, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Auburn University.
