Support for High School Students Following the Kumamoto Earthquake
In light of the Kumamoto earthquake in 2024, the JinJib Group, which includes JinJib Co., located in Osaka, and JinJib Career Co. based in Tokyo, is stepping up to provide free counseling for high school students and their guardians who are feeling uncertain about their future paths. Our thoughts are with those affected, and we wish for the swift recovery of the region.
As we enter autumn, it becomes an especially crucial time for high school students contemplating their futures. For those seeking employment, company selections commence as early as September, while those pursuing further education approach the exam season in earnest. However, in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, rebuilding lives and restoring normalcy often takes precedence.
To mitigate the fears of high school students regarding their future academic and career options, JinJib Group is leveraging its extensive experience and network in providing support for job hunting and education. We aim to ensure that students do not feel as though giving up is their only option or miss out on necessary information and support during these challenging times.
Furthermore, we will continue the scheduled event, "Teacher Fes (Kumamoto Venue)," planned for October 14, 2026, at Kumamoto Castle Hall. This event will not only welcome high school educators but also students and their families, providing them with opportunities to discuss careers directly with experts at the venue.
In addition to counseling, we are committed to contributing supplies to Yatsushiro City in Kumamoto Prefecture and donating funds apportioned based on our employees’ engagement, directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society. This initiative is a testament to our dedication to supporting the wider community, ensuring we remain proactive rather than reactive in our contributions.
