Yutong's Impressive Showcase at Busworld Europe 2025

At the recent Busworld Europe 2025 event held in Brussels, Yutong Bus, a leading global manufacturer of electric buses, made a significant mark by showcasing its groundbreaking technology, EV Long-Life Tech. This innovation emphasizes sustainability with the same operational lifespan for both the vehicle and its battery, projected at 15 years or 1.5 million kilometers. Additionally, Yutong introduced its fleet management platform, Link+, reinforcing its commitment to providing advanced transportation solutions. The company's motto for the event, "Think Eco, Move Green," clearly highlights their dedication to eco-friendly innovations.

During the exhibition, Yutong was honored to receive a total of seven prestigious awards, acknowledging its exceptional performance in various categories such as vehicle safety and environmental impact. The flagship model, Yutong U15, clinched the Grand Award Bus, with Daimler ECITARO and EBUSCO 3.0 following closely in second and third places. Furthermore, the U15 was also recognized with three additional accolades, namely the Label of Excellence Safety Bus, Label of Excellence Ecology Bus, and Label of Excellence Design Bus, solidifying its status as a benchmark in the premium urban bus sector. Similarly, the Yutong T14E received the esteemed Grand Award Coach, while the IC12E model earned accolades for its ecology and design.

Yutong introduced four distinct series of battery-electric buses tailored for varied operational scenarios, ranging from urban mass transit to intercity connections and luxury travel segments. One of the highlights, the 14-meter luxury electric tourist bus T14E, features battery options of 621 or 704 kWh, boasting an impressive range of up to 850 km. It accommodates 61 passengers and is equipped with a spacious luggage compartment of 8.5 m³, 360-degree sound system, and a digital key utilizing NFC technology for enhanced passenger convenience. Additionally, the vehicle features a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system paired with air suspension for intelligent driving adaptability and an accessibility lift for passengers with mobility challenges.

Yutong also presented the standard intercity bus IC12E, which premiered globally at the showcase. It utilizes next-generation batteries with high energy density, achieving an energy consumption rate of 0.67 kWh/km under testing conditions. The maximum range for this model reaches 675 km, and it can conquer slopes of up to 25%, thanks to innovative liquid-cooled charging stations. One charging module allows for up to 700 A, enabling a quick battery recharge from 12% to 100% in just about 1.2 hours.

The upper-class city bus U15, which represents the pinnacle of Yutong's engineering achievements, reaches a maximum range of 850 km according to SORT2 testing conditions and accommodates up to 90 passengers. A notable integration into this model is the Link+ fleet management system that monitors operational data in real-time, making urban public transportation safer and more efficient. Yutong also unveiled the U11DD and U12 models, further enhancing their diverse product lineup in the European market.

In promoting its expansive product portfolio, Yutong also emphasized the long-term value of electric buses highlighted through its EV Long-Life Tech.
