TIB KIDS: A New Initiative to Inspire Young Innovators Through Technology

Launching TIB KIDS: A Technology Experience for Children

The Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), spearheaded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, has been a hub for innovation and collaboration. Under the banner of "created by everyone", TIB has evolved into a gathering point for various stakeholders, attracting many attendees from across Japan and around the world. Recently, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced an upgrade to its startup strategy, introducing the "Global Innovation Strategy 2.0 STARTUP & SCALEUP". TIB aims to transform into a pivotal support center for all challengers, nurturing innovation for the future.

Amidst these exciting developments, the launch of TIB KIDS has been announced, aimed at enabling children to experience and enjoy technology as an integral part of their lives. This initiative seeks to empower young innovators by embracing technology that inspires creativity and imaginative thinking.

What is TIB KIDS?

TIB KIDS is designed for children of all ages, providing them with opportunities to engage with advanced technologies that are shaping the future. With the involvement of various organizations and companies, TIB is eager to create exciting events and programs that educate and entertain. TIB KIDS partners will host activities that enable children to explore ideas related to sectors like space exploration, robotics, mobility, and entertainment.

By joining forces with innovative startups and supportive players in the tech ecosystem, TIB KIDS will allow children to harness their creativity and show off their ingenuity. Participants will be involved in engaging events and programs aimed at primary school children and preschoolers, providing a nurturing environment for budding innovators.
