Experience the Thrill of Enhanced Skiing at Cupid Valley's New Quad Lift Opening

Revamped Cupid Valley Takes Skiing to New Heights with Upgraded Quad Lift

Cupid Valley, one of the ski resorts operated by Hospitality Operations, is set to reopen for the 2025-2026 ski season on December 27, 2025. Located in Niigata Prefecture, this resort is prized for its superb snow quality and exhilarating slopes. The star of this season's enhancements is the newly refurbished second quad lift, which has been extended to 1,425 meters and promises an unmatched skiing experience.

A New Era of Skiing at Cupid Valley

With its remarkable snow conditions, Cupid Valley offers 12 well-groomed courses and a maximum skiing distance of 4,000 meters. The extended lift significantly enhances accessibility and convenience across the entire ski area, allowing skiers to explore more options than ever before. The number of skiable courses has doubled from four to eight, dramatically increasing the total skiing distance from roughly 4,500 meters to an astonishing 7,600 meters.

The renovated lift operates at an impressive speed of 5 meters per second, ensuring that skiers can navigate the slopes swiftly while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The introduction of a new lift storage facility has also improved safety measures throughout the area, ensuring a worry-free experience for all visitors.

Exciting Adventures Await with Revival of Tree Run Area

One of the highlights of this season is the resurgence of an advanced-level tree run area, now made accessible thanks to the newly extended lift. This area allows skiing enthusiasts to experience the thrill of deep, powdery snow while utilizing the natural terrain of the mountain. It is designed for those looking for a more adventurous skiing experience.

After a day filled with thrilling runs, visitors can unwind at the Yukidaruma Onsen Kubi Kin, a natural hot spring located at the foot of the mountain.
