Introducing New Colors of +d's Minimalistic Hook Pin 'Pli' for Stylish Spaces

Unveiling New Colors of the Minimalistic Hook Pin 'Pli'

On June 18, 2023, Ash Concept, based in Taito, Tokyo, led by CEO Hideyoshi Nagoya, announced the release of new colors for their popular hook pin, 'Pli'. The new options include elegant gold and sleek black, adding a touch of sophistication to the original design.

Simplicity at Its Best

The 'Pli' hook pin is not just a design item; it's an innovation achieved by bending high-strength material into a U-shape. This minimalist design seamlessly integrates into any room, enhancing the aesthetic without overwhelming it. With the introduction of the gold and black variants, users now have more flexibility to match their favorite items or wall colors.

Thoughtful Functionality

Designed with a 0.8 mm width, the pin does not impose its presence too much on the wall. Its clever form, derived from the simple concept of bending a line, allows it to effectively facilitate hanging. Users can effortlessly organize accessories, calendars, keys, belts, and cords, making it multifunctional for various spaces, from the living room to the entrance.

Combining Delicacy with Strength

Made from high-strength stainless steel wire, commonly used in precision medical devices, 'Pli' features a delicate appearance but boasts a weight capacity of about 1 kg. Its stainless material is resistant to rust, making it suitable for use near water areas. Additionally, the hook's design prevents items from being scratched, ensuring safety even if the pin is dropped.

Expand Your Decoration Ideas with 'Pli'

Utilizing the 'Pli' pins for displaying cards and leaflets can be done creatively without damaging them. By placing two pins on the bottom and one on top, treasured memories can be showcased beautifully without creating holes.

Designer Insight: Akasaki Vanhuyse

The name 'Pli' translates to 'fold' in French, symbolizing the process of bending a single line to create the product. The decision not to include the word 'pin' in the product name reflects our intent to encourage users to discover their unique functionalities. We hope that through experimenting with its uses, users will enjoy the excitement of design.
