On May 7, 2025, Sport Clips Haircuts, a prominent provider in men's and boys' hair care, convened over 3,000 of its stylists, franchisees, and support team members at its annual National Huddle. This gathering not only showcased the company’s commitment to quality but also reinforced its goal to create lifelong fans of the brand. The event was held in San Antonio, Texas, and was marked by motivational speeches and valuable training sessions designed to enhance customer experiences.

The CEO and President, Edward Logan, energized attendees with the rallying cry to "Run the playbook," emphasizing the strategies that have established Sport Clips as a favorite among men and boys needing grooming services. Logan's message was clear: to maintain growth, the brand must deliver personalized and exceptional services, staying true to its core of providing outstanding haircuts in a sports-centric environment.

Through targeted training sessions, team members learned how to effectively cater to clients’ needs while reinforcing the signature Sport Clips experience. The focus was on creating not just satisfied customers but raving fans who return repeatedly.

Among the key moments of the day was a keynote speech by Jesse Cole, founder of Fans First Entertainment and owner of the Savannah Bananas, who shared his approach to prioritizing fan experiences. His mantra, “Fans First. Entertain Always,” resonated with the team, further aligning with Sport Clips' objective of enhancing client interactions. Additional speakers included John DiJulius, who provided insights on building brands that customers can't live without, and Nina Berrios, a veteran stylist who exemplified success within the organization.

Furthermore, Sport Clips proudly announced a significant contribution of $333,000 to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, part of its larger $1 million commitment over three years to support childhood cancer research. The event also celebrated community engagement by welcoming 10-year-old cancer survivor Kaylee Wan as an Honored Kid.

The franchise continues to highlight its commitment to first responders through sponsorship of the 2025 World Police and Fire Games. In another significant feat, Sport Clips acknowledged its support of veterans, awarding 3,200 scholarships totaling $14.6 million and providing over 7,000 complimentary flights for senior veterans through its Dream Flights partnership. Additionally, the brand has contributed more than $435,000 in free haircuts to blood donors via its partnership with the American Red Cross.

Sport Clips also takes pride in its internal initiatives, such as the Eric Gozur-Wayne McGlone Memorial Relief Fund, which has provided $6.58 million to over 1,300 team members in financial assistance since its inception in 2012.

At the conclusion of the Huddle, various awards acknowledged outstanding performances among team members, such as the Area Developers of the Year, Duke and Michaelyn Sorensen, and the Manager of the Year, Kaisha Prince, among others.
