Professor Dastbaz transitions to MLA College from the University of Suffolk, where he held the esteemed position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Throughout his distinguished career in higher education, he has established a remarkable track record in advancing academic innovation, promoting digital learning, and expanding international partnerships. His expertise in computing is complemented by a PhD focusing on the Design, Development, and Evaluation of Multimedia Systems, making him exceptionally well-suited for this leadership role.
This new chapter in Professor Dastbaz’s career is underscored by his deep commitment to integrating technology and sustainable practices into educational frameworks. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for IT (The British Computer Society) and has spent years championing initiatives that merge technology with environmental sustainability and education. His previous roles include serving as Dean at both the University of East London and Leeds Beckett University.
