GIGABYTE Expands AI Development Options with New 64GB AI TOP ATOM Model

GIGABYTE Unveils 64GB AI TOP ATOM Model to Enhance AI Development

GIGABYTE has recently announced the release of an updated version of its AI TOP ATOM, featuring 64GB of unified memory. This new model is set to launch on October 23, expanding the current lineup that includes a high-capacity variant of 128GB. Crafted on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform, this configuration is designed to provide developers, researchers, and corporate teams with enhanced flexibility. It aids in selecting the most suitable setup for their AI workloads and memory requirements while enabling the creation of dedicated AI development environments in-house.

As generative and agent-based AI applications evolve, activities such as model testing, data processing, and application validation are becoming increasingly vital in daily development workflows. The GIGABYTE AI TOP ATOM combines AI computing capabilities within a compact desktop form factor, empowering users to perform model inferences, prototype development, and data analysis across offices, labs, and educational settings. By allowing local execution of models and data processing, users can achieve greater control over development resources and project data, minimizing reliance on cloud computing.

The newly introduced 64GB unified memory variant, alongside the existing 128GB version, bolsters the AI TOP ATOM product range. Users can evaluate and select memory capacity based on their model sizes, workflows, and multitasking needs, facilitating the development of AI applications on a single platform while seamlessly transitioning from initial feasibility testing to practical deployment. Additionally, thanks to the integrated ConnectX-7 network technology, developers can cluster up to four units with NVIDIA Sync, expanding memory space and computational capability.

On the software front, the AI TOP ATOM integrates the NVIDIA CUDA accelerated AI software ecosystem, along with the GIGABYTE AI TOP utility, which provides functionalities such as model downloading, inference, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to enable users to establish local AI workflows. Developers can explore open models, test AI assistants, or utilize their documentation to create knowledge-based Q&A applications, allowing for continuous fine-tuning and validation of solutions according to project requirements, thereby expediting the transition from ideas to real-world applications.

GIGABYTE also continues to explore the potential of the AI TOP ATOM for agent-based AI applications. In a demonstration of multi-node scientific computing, GIGABYTE merged NVIDIA Nemotron's open models with the open-source agent infrastructure layer, NVIDIA NemoClaw, establishing a connection between research hypothesis generation and simulation workflows. This showcases the potential of AI agents to support scientific research.

Through the continuous integration of hardware platforms, software tools, and real-world applications, GIGABYTE is committed to broadening the use cases for AI computing on desktop systems. With the introduction of the 64GB unified memory offering, the AI TOP ATOM is now available in both 128GB and 64GB configurations, catering to user needs at different stages of AI development and varying scales of implementation. GIGABYTE aims to further expand its AI TOP product line and software ecosystem to assist both individuals and corporate teams in building AI capabilities in their facilities and transitioning AI from technological exploration to everyday application.

The 64GB unified memory version of the GIGABYTE AI TOP ATOM will officially be available starting October 23, 2026. The availability of products, sales channels, and pricing may vary by region.
