On February 8, 2026, a vibrant and large-scale event known as the morimori🌳 Smile Festa will take place at Smile Omori, a multifaceted facility in Omori, Tokyo. Scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this festival is organized by the morimori🌳 Smile Festa Executive Committee and co-hosted by the Ota Ward. This exciting event offers a variety of activities for everyone, including performances by local talents, food sales, and exhibits that cater to all ages. The organizers are eager to welcome attendees to this community celebration!

Event Highlights


The Smile Festa will provide an engaging atmosphere throughout the entire complex. Here’s a snapshot of what attendees can expect:

1. Stage Performances


Located in the Multipurpose Room B2F and Esena Multipurpose Room 6F, local musicians, dancers, and performers will showcase their talents. Expect lively performances that highlight the hard work from regular practice sessions!

2. Food Sales


Head to the B2F for a diverse selection of delicious foods! Offerings will include kimchi, chijimi (Korean pancakes), sweet red bean soup, coffee, and various snacks like cookies and popcorn. Note that items will be available until they’re sold out.

3. Exhibits and Experiences


Across multiple floors—including B2F, 1F, 2F, 5F, and 6F—visitors can explore various exhibits, enjoy health consultations, browse local crafts, and participate in activities like massages and conversation tips that make this event enjoyable for both children and adults.

4. Find the Smile-kun


A special treasure hunt challenge named ā€œFind the Smile-kunā€ will occur throughout Smile Omori. Participants who locate the hidden mascot can earn an original mini pouch from Smile Omori! The activity will run from 10:00 AM, with the last prize pickup taking place at 3:30 PM (limited to the first 500 participants).

5. Glass Wall Artwork and Photo Ops


The event will feature large glass artwork created collaboratively by community members, including students from the Tsubasa Omori Classroom. Don’t miss the chance to snap a memorable photo in front of these stunning displays!

6. Omori Broadcasting Station


At the 1F Entrance Slope, the Omori Broadcasting Station will host storytelling sessions about Omori's rich culture and history, celebrating its 150-year milestone. Join the conversation and learn more about local stories and businesses.

7. Special Guests


Two beloved mascots, Hanepyon (the official PR character of Ota Ward) and O-chan, celebrating Ota's 50th anniversary, will visit Smile Omori at scheduled times for photos and fun interactions!

8. Children’s Railway Booth


Kids can dress up as a child station master and take part in a special photoshoot at the 1F Open Space. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young fans of the railway!

9. Fire Brigade Experience


Step into the shoes of a firefighter with the Omori Fire Brigade! Attendees can wear fire protection clothing and even climb aboard a fire truck, available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 1F.

10. EV Power Generation Demonstration


Check out a collaborative demonstration by Toyota Mobility Tokyo Omori and the Nihon Kogakuin College, showcasing how electricity can be generated with vehicles under emergency conditions.
