EcoFlow Joins Kyoto's Gion Matsuri with Clean Energy
EcoFlow Technology Japan, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, is once again lighting up the iconic lanterns known as "komagata" at Kyoto’s famous Gion Matsuri this July. This event, renowned as one of Japan's top three festivals, showcases not only traditional crafts but also incorporates innovative clean energy solutions. For the fourth consecutive year, EcoFlow will lend its cutting-edge portable power technology to enhance this traditional celebration, aligning with the growing global focus on environmental sustainability.
The collaboration aims to set a precedent in which deep-rooted cultural festivities embrace eco-friendly practices. As society demands more sustainable operations in various aspects, including traditional events, EcoFlow has begun working alongside preservation associations starting in 2023 to provide free power supply support.
From July 14 to 16, EcoFlow will supply portable power sources to the "Taishiyama" preservation society, marking their inaugural collaboration. Additionally, during the latter part of the festival from July 20 to 23, the "Takayama" preservation society will also benefit from EcoFlow’s portable power systems. This initiative not only enhances the aesthetic aspect of the festival but provides a practical solution to the current sustainability challenges faced by cultural events.
