DREAM UP! PROJECT: Building a School in Myanmar

On November 13, 2025, the DREAM UP! PROJECT celebrated the completion of the Shwe Taung Tan Monastery School in Eya City, Shan State, Myanmar. Established through the generous donations collected during the first event, this school now serves approximately 1,200 children, creating a beacon of hope amid adversity.

A Visit by Takeru

On August 17, 2026, Takeru, the representative of DREAM UP! PROJECT, visited the newly built school. During his visit, he interacted with the students and shared their various stories. Takeru expressed his gratitude to the supporters, stating, "I am delighted to have turned the heartfelt contributions towards DREAM UP! into a tangible reality here in Myanmar."

Upon meeting the children, he learned some have lost their parents due to conflict or are living away from their families due to displacement. Through these encounters, Takeru understood that simply building schools is not enough; it is equally important to create an environment where children can dream.

"There are many challenges ahead, but we will continue to work towards ensuring that children have a supportive environment to nurture their dreams," Takeru affirmed.

Upcoming Events

The DREAM UP! PROJECT is set to host its second event on September 20, 2026, at YANMAR TOKYO B1F HANASAKA SQUARE. Attendees can look forward to engaging activities:

• - Takeru and Guests Talk Show: Insightful discussions on the project's goals and the importance of education.
• - Live Performances: Talented artists will grace the stage, bringing art and music to the event.
• - Exhibitions by Athletes: Local athletes will showcase their skills and provide inspiration.
• - Children's Sports Experience: A hands-on experience for children to engage in sports and understand teamwork.
• - DREAM UP! PROJECT Activity Report: An overview of the achievements and progress of the project.

The event begins with the first session from 12:00 PM to around 2:00 PM, followed by the second session from 2:30 PM to around 4:30 PM.
