Kameda General Hospital conducts over 60 surgical procedures daily, necessitating anesthesiologists to collect critical information from various sources for each patient. Each physician traditionally spends about an hour gathering necessary data, including blood tests, ECGs, medication history, and past medical conditions, which are dispersed across numerous systems such as electronic medical records. This fragmentation leads to inefficiencies and takes away valuable time from doctors that could otherwise be dedicated to patient care.

A comparative analysis was conducted involving three anesthesiologists and 92 patients, contrasting the use of the app with traditional methods. The time saved has since been redirected towards critical aspects of patient care, including consultations and anesthesia planning. The app, initially developed for pre-surgical preparation, has expanded in utility to serve as a final confirmation tool right before surgery, demonstrating high adoption rates and continuous feedback for improvements from the medical staff.
