Roppongi Hills Spring Festival 2026
From April 3rd to 5th, 2026,
Roppongi Hills, managed by Mori Building Co., Ltd., will host the
Roppongi Hills Spring Festival 2026. This urban celebration invites participants to indulge in the sights, sounds, and tastes of traditional Japanese culture in the heart of Tokyo.
The highlight of this three-day festival will be various exciting performances at the
Roppongi Hills Arena. Kicking off on April 3rd, the festival will showcase a special pre-performance of
Kyoto’s Maki Noh, known for its ethereal atmosphere, on the first day. On April 4th, guests can witness creative Kabuki by
Shakai Mondai ni Tchallmu Kabukimono, addressing contemporary social issues through performance. The final day will feature the UNESCO registered
Iwami Kagura, a traditional performance originating from the Iwami region in Shimane Prefecture.
The
Kyoto Maki Noh will present a Noh play titled
Hanamizuki, set against the backdrop of the blooming cherry blossoms at Kiyomizu Temple in spring. This enchanting performance is sure to transport attendees into a mystical world.
Daily performances will also include dynamic traditional
Yosakoi teams and a unique ensemble group that blends both Japanese and Western musical styles, ensuring diverse experiences throughout the festival. Alongside these performances, festival-goers can savor delicacies from Japan's culinary heritage at specialty food stalls, including exquisite sweets from a well-loved confectionery established in 1899, and try traditional games like ring toss and others, making it a perfect event for families.
The festival will also have luxury food offerings prepared from seasonal spring ingredients by 14 participating hotels and restaurants within Roppongi Hills, featuring local specialties from Yamanashi Prefecture.
During this period, the
Mori Garden and
Sakurazaka will be adorned with stunning illuminations, shining light on around 90 cherry blossoms, creating an enchanting atmosphere not to be missed. Attendees can also enjoy an exclusive viewing of cherry blossoms from the usually off-limits rooftop garden, as well as a ‘sky-high cherry blossom viewing’ from the Roppongi Hills Observation Deck.
