NDS 2026 Graduation Exhibition: A Showcase of Talent
The Nihon Designer Gakuin (NDS), an esteemed educational institution under Kure Gakuen, is set to host its 2026 Graduation Exhibition from March 1 to March 6. This exhibition stands as a testament to the students’ hard work, creativity, and the skills they have developed throughout their academic journey.
The showcase will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, continuing from last year's successful exhibition. The NDS has a legacy of educating aspiring artists and designers across various disciplines, including illustration, manga, animation, photography, and more. Established by the first principal, Fumio Yamana, the school continues to inspire students with the principle that 'beauty resides in the details.' This philosophy drives the curriculum at NDS, which emphasizes real-world education by mirroring professional environments and standards, ensuring students receive a comprehensive and practical learning experience.
In the face of current educational demands, NDS has also integrated online and face-to-face learning approaches to maximize educational outcomes. Moreover, with the aim of expanding Japanese creativity to the global stage, NDS is actively pursuing international initiatives, including ventures in Malaysia. This strategy not only enriches the educational experience for students but also cultivates a platform where global creativity can be exchanged and learned within Japan
