Experience Autumn Bliss: Nishikishu Tea Party
As the leaves change color and the air turns crisp, SORANO HOTEL is set to launch its delightful autumn tea menu, "Nishikishu Tea Party - Japanese Afternoon Tea," on October 1, 2025. Run by Tachihi Hospitality Management Co., Ltd. in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, this event will be held at the DAICHINO RESTAURANT located on the hotel’s lobby floor. Guests are invited to relish in a harmonious blend of seasonal flavors while soaking in the cozy vibes of autumn.
The highlight of the "Nishikishu Tea Party" is an array of thoughtfully curated delicacies that promises to delight all the senses. Indulge in scones rich with the unique flavor of "Tachihi no Sora," a hotel's original sake, which incorporates sake lees for an exquisite taste. Another masterpiece includes a sweet potato Basque cheesecake that celebrates the natural sweetness and texture of its main ingredient. For a refreshing twist, patrons can enjoy a mini parfait featuring muscat grapes made with the craft beer "Tachihi Weizen," known for its fruity and mellow flavor that captivates many female guests.
Adding to the variety, guests can find an assortment of savory offerings. Relish roasted beef from Goto cattle, a vibrant "Earth Salad," and homemade grilled rice balls made with the hotel’s own miso. Moreover, diners will enjoy homemade pickles and a creative blend of dried persimmons and sweet potatoes embraced with butter and rose salt, providing an exciting contrast that brings out different flavors when paired with the scones.
To complement these delightful treats, three distinctive types of botanical teas will be available, each delivering unique aromas and colors:
1.
Cinnamon and Lemongrass – A golden brew that marries the warmth of spices with a refreshing aroma, perfect for alleviating the chill of autumn.
2.
Butterfly Pea and Piparts – A mystical blend featuring the smooth flavor of Piparts from the Yaeyama Islands, adorned with a citrusy aftertaste and vibrant purple hue that brings to mind the enchanting autumn evenings.
3.
Getto and Apricot Blossom – A soothing combination of ginger getto, apricot blossom, and okra, enriched with the gentle depth of Ryukyu yomogi, providing a calming experience for both body and mind.
This immersive tea experience welcomes guests to savor the autumn bounty and rich colors of the season during this heartwarming tea time. It's an opportunity not just to dine, but to embark on a sensory journey, filled with seasonal delights designed to uplift the spirit.
