Matsumoto Castle, known for its remarkable five-tiered structure, stands as one of the oldest existing national treasures. This year's projection mapping will celebrate its architectural beauty by showcasing historic artworks, vibrant flowers, and local craftsmanship through digital projections. Visitors will witness the intricate images sourced from the Matsumoto City Museum's collection, such as Nishiki-e, exquisite folding screens, and culturally rich motifs like Matsumoto Temari (traditional handmade balls) and lanterns.

The event is organized under the auspices of the Matsumoto Castle Town Festa Organizing Committee and emphasizes a community-centric approach.
