Exciting New Summer Offerings: Spicy and Non-Spicy Chilled Tsukemen at Gofukuken

New Summer Offerings at Gofukuken

As the summer heat intensifies, Gofukuken, a new brand under MP Kitchen Holdings, is thrilled to announce the launch of two refreshing new dishes: Chilled Spicy Tsukemen and Chilled Non-Spicy Tsukemen set to hit the market on September 1, 2025.

Chilled Spicy Tsukemen: A Refreshing yet Fiery Delight

The Chilled Spicy Tsukemen is designed for those who crave a burst of flavor with every bite. Using a special soy sauce base, it’s topped with aromatic chili oil and sesame, offering a delightful mix of refreshing taste and stimulating spiciness. This dish perfectly combines a chilled sensation with bold flavors, making it a must-try for the hot summer days ahead.

The unique low-hydration noodles offer a smooth texture and firm bite, setting them apart from the thicker offerings at traditional noodle shops like Mita Seimenjo. Each serving is garnished with expertly prepared sliced chashu, crunchy domestic cabbage, crisp cucumber, and vibrant green onion, enhancing both texture and visual appeal.

The accompanying chilled dipping sauce is an exquisite blend of toasty white sesame and zesty chili oil. Once mixed with the cool noodles, the sauce releases a refreshing spiciness combined with rich umami, making it a perfect choice for summer dining, even during the lingering heat of August.

Non-Spicy Alternative for the Mild Palate

For those who are averse to heat, Gofukuken is also offering the Chilled Non-Spicy Tsukemen at the same price point. This dish provides a perfect balance for those seeking a comforting yet refreshing noodle experience without the spice. Both options are ideal for cooling down while enjoying delicious flavors during the hot months.

These delightful summer offerings will be available at nine Gofukuken locations, including:
  • - Kichijoji
