RIMAN Successfully Hosts 2026 APAC Convention in Macau Focusing on Strategic Growth and Innovation

RIMAN's 2026 APAC Convention in Macau: A Focal Point for Innovation and Strategy

RIMAN, a prominent player in the direct selling industry specializing in K-beauty skincare and wellness, has recently concluded its much-anticipated "2026 RIMAN Convention". Held from April 17 to 19 at The Londoner Macao, this event attracted approximately 2,000 members and leaders from various Asia-Pacific markets, marking a significant gathering for the company.

Theme and Key Highlights

Under the theme "MADE DIFFERENT", the convention underscored the company's commitment to innovation and strategic growth. Participants from South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan all congregated to exchange insights and strategies, aiming to bolster RIMAN's regional network and extend its global reach.

The agenda featured a comprehensive three-day program that included leadership training sessions, discussions on business strategies, and presentations on product innovations. Executives and regional leaders shared success stories from different markets, reinforcing the importance of aligning local operations with global strategies. This collaborative approach was pivotal in facilitating networking and idea exchanges among attendees.

Among the standout moments was a leadership panel discussion that captivated the audience before revealing new products. The introduction of RIMAN's heritage ingredient, Giant BYoungPool™, played a crucial role in highlighting the company’s distinct brand philosophy, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.

Groundbreaking Innovations Introduced

RIMAN took the opportunity to showcase its ongoing research initiatives during the convention. Dr. Hee-sik Kim, the Chief Technology Officer of ASK LABS, presented an exciting new plant-based bio-material derived from a unique strain of chlorella sourced from Jeju Island. This innovative component has reportedly been under development for almost ten years, involving an investment of approximately KRW 3.9 billion (around $3.0 million). Rich in carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin, this bio-material is anticipated to feature in new RIMAN product lines set to launch later this year.

Additionally, exhibition areas were set up to showcase RIMAN’s brands, including ICD, botalab, and Lifening, alongside digital installations displaying the production and sourcing operations from Jeju Island. This provided attendees with an immersive experience into the meticulous processes behind RIMAN's products.

A Vision for Future Growth

According to Youngsu Hwang, RIMAN's Global Chief Sales Officer, the primary goal of the convention was to foster coordination among the various markets and to support the company's long-term stability and growth in the competitive landscape of beauty and wellness.

The company, founded in 2018 in South Korea, continues to redefine K-Beauty by unearthing heritage ingredients from Jeju and incorporating innovative practices. At its Jeju Smart Farm, RIMAN meticulously manages every facet of production, from the cultivation of raw materials to product development—an approach that not only strengthens quality control but also enhances sustainability.

A notable mention includes RIMAN's flagship ingredient, Giant BYoungPool™. This advanced cultivar of Centella Asiatica received a 20-year Plant Variety Protection grant from the Korea Forest Service in July 2022 and from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in September 2025. Such recognitions align with the company's commitment to upholding high standards in product development and sustainability.

Conclusion

RIMAN's 2026 Convention in Macau not only served as a platform for learning and innovation but also fortified the bonds among diverse markets within the APAC region. As RIMAN looks forward to its future, the company remains committed to its vision of growth while embracing the rich heritage of K-beauty, shaping the wellness industry for years to come.
