Introducing the GO Device Family

The new GO Device Family consists of the GO® and GO Plus™ devices, which feature an upgraded architecture that collects and processes high-fidelity data seamlessly into Geotab's intelligence platform. The standard GO device comes with native BluetoothⓇ integration, enabling the use of driver apps without the need for additional hardware. It also incorporates advanced monitoring capabilities for specialized vehicle metrics, such as Power Take-Off (PTO), and features a 'last gasp' tamper alert powered by a supercapacitor. This alerts fleet managers immediately when a device is disconnected.

The GO Plus builds on its predecessor's capabilities, adding satellite tracking for areas with poor coverage, an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot for in-cab devices, and Wi-Fi client mode for automated depot uploads. Importantly, the Go Plus is equipped with a dedicated battery that captures high-resolution data for five seconds during collisions, preserving the factual record essential for insurance claims and liability assessments.

Both products work in harmony with Geotab Ace®, Geotab's AI-powered assistant, converting precise vehicle data into actionable insights for fleet managers, thereby enhancing decision-making processes.

Expanding Visibility with GO Anywhere

The GO Anywhere family extends visibility beyond vehicles to include trailers, equipment, and tools located at worksites. Designed for non-powered assets like trailers, the GO Anywhere devices promise extraordinary battery life of up to ten years, offering hourly location updates without the burden of regular maintenance. In emergencies like theft, the device’s High-Frequency Mode allows for rapid tracking and recovery.

The GO Anywhere Plus™ combines wired power for real-time location tracking, along with a field-replaceable backup battery, ensuring continuous visibility across complex deployments. This is particularly advantageous for logistics operators managing cross-border trailer fleets or construction companies tracking heavy machinery across various sites. It provides critical operational data necessary to enhance asset utilization and reduce downtime.

Another major feature is the Small Asset Tracking solution, which utilizes BluetoothⓇ Low Energy (BLE) beacons to monitor portable tools and equipment at risk of being lost. This solution leverages nearby connected devices to track assets and sends geofence alerts when items are left behind.
