This incredible milestone is part of the campaign titled "The 5th Monaki Campaign." As part of the celebrations, numerous engaging activities are planned.

Targeting the '5th Monaki'

The campaign, aptly themed around the number five, invites fans to answer quizzes with the hashtag #au5thMonaki on social media platforms. Correct answers will enter participants into a draw for exclusive prizes, including personalized video messages from Monaki members, special limited-edition collaboration merchandise, and au PAY gift cards valued at 1,000 yen. A total of 555 lucky winners will be selected from those who participate.

Exciting Event at YouTube Fanfest Japan 2026

Additionally, a special photo booth will be set up during the YouTube Fanfest Japan 2026 Pop-Up, running from November 5 to November 8. Fans will have a chance to interact with Monaki through exciting new features at this event in Shibuya’s MEDIA DEPARTMENT TOKYO, offering a unique opportunity to 'become the 5th Monaki' in photographs.

From November 9, outdoor advertising campaigns will launch in Tokyo and Nagoya, featuring mirrors that allow attendees to take pictures as if they are standing side by side with the Monaki members, showcasing the '5th Monaki' concept.

Engaging with the Public

This campaign aims to create various touchpoints for fans to immerse themselves in the experience of being the '5th Monaki' while celebrating au's remarkable achievement of maintaining its top position for five continuous terms. Enthusiasts are encouraged to take part in the fun and share their experiences.
