Connecting Communities: The 11th RA Summit 2026 Unveils A Vision for Student Living

The 11th RA Summit 2026: Connecting Communities and Shaping Futures

On February 12, 2026, the 11th RA Summit will take place, hosted by Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., a leading force in student accommodation in Japan. This event aims to unveil the vital activities undertaken by current RA (Resident Assistant) leaders from 66 dormitories across 61 campuses, promoting an enhanced residential experience for students nationwide.

About the RA Program

Initiated in 2015, the RA Program equips students with leadership roles to enrich the lives of their peers in dormitories. By fostering community and facilitating support systems, RAs play a crucial part in enhancing student life. As of December 2025, the program boasts approximately 200 RAs in various dormitories throughout the country.

The RA role extends beyond the dormitory environment into community engagement, focusing on sustainable development goals (SDGs) by promoting symbiosis within local societies. Furthermore, the program also establishes a network connecting former and current RAs, allowing individuals to leverage their experiences toward future career opportunities.
