Another Works Promotes Multi-Job Education for Future Career Paths
In its latest initiative, Another Works, a Tokyo-based company, is making a significant impact on how young people perceive their future careers. By conducting an engaging special class at Yokohama City Rokkakubashi Junior High School, Another Works is introducing students to the concept of 'multi-jobs,' igniting an important conversation about modern career possibilities. The session featured Eiko Kuroda, the Brand Manager of Another Works, who shared insights on evolving work styles and the opportunities available to students on the brink of adulthood.
The Context Behind the Class
Japan is currently undergoing a crucial transformation in its employment landscape. Factors such as a declining workforce due to aging population, the diversification of work styles, and changes in model employment regulations are reshaping the job market. Amidst these changes, the notion of multi-job roles has gained traction as it not only broadens individuals' career options but also addresses human resource shortages in companies and local challenges faced by communities. This emerging work style encourages diverse talent to thrive across organizations and regions.
Founded in May 2019, Another Works has firmly believed that multi-job roles are essential for modern society. Through its primary service, the 'Multi-Job Cloud,' the company has connected numerous individuals with organizations and municipalities, achieving impressive milestones of over 100,000 registered talents, 2,500 total implementations, and collaborations with 250 municipalities by June 2026.
In this shifting paradigm, it is imperative for young people to be aware of their options early on. Recognizing that 'multi-job' is a prospective career alternative will significantly open the door to future opportunities.
To promote these ideas, Another Works has been conducting special classes across various educational institutions, emphasizing the joys of working, the variety of career options, and the possibilities that multi-jobs can offer. This initiative goes beyond traditional career education; it embodies the company’s vision to maximize opportunities for all individuals willing to challenge themselves. Another Works remains committed to empowering students to carve their unique career paths, fostering a society where diverse working styles are the norm.
