In a strategic move aimed at enhancing public safety services, Hexagon AB has reached an agreement to acquire the Unified Communications Radio Suite (UCRS) assets from CONET Communications GmbH. This acquisition, aimed at bolstering their existing public safety platform, signifies a major step forward in consolidated communications technology for emergency response agencies.

UCRS is recognized for its ability to provide a high-performance communication framework ideal for control centers. As part of this acquisition plan, approximately 50 CONET employees are set to join Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division once regulatory approvals and customary conditions are met. The transaction is expected to finalize by the end of Q2 2025.
